HoldTight 102: One product -two purposes


Blastquip stock HoldTight 102 which prevents flash rusting of wet abrasive and water-blasting iron and steel surfaces and of dry blasted surfaces in a pressurised wash down.  This product effectively removes all salts, including Chlorides, sulfates, nitrates and other contaminants including oil, grease and blast residues.  It is approved by most major coating suppliers for use with coatings. Holdtight102 is an ideal solution to remove residue created while sodablasting and clean the surface ready for coating.

Q. Whats the mix ratio (water to HoldTight®102) for a 48-120 Hour flash-free window and removal of salts, grease and other contaminants?
A. For Wet or Water Abrasive Blasting 0 For most applications 100:1 works fine. Where surface or air contamination or humidity are exceptionally high, 50:1 may be necessary to achieve the desired results
